We’re in a hamlet in a valley. This means that noise travels a long way!
Some (normally charming) neighbours have a young Border Collie. It’s under a year but is dog size not puppy size.
I have no idea where it is all day - they are WFH - but every evening it goes into their garden and barks, and barks and barks. It’s 10pm and has been barking since 7. It means the garden is unusable without earplugs - same for 8 or 9 other houses.
So, Doghouse veterans: any suggestions? Then I could helpfully pass them on, won’t go well but better than putting up with it. I think the dog owners are clueless and at first I thought they were trying to train it not to bark or something (controlled barking???) but it’s been weeks and no improvement.
It didn’t do it when it was smaller, or perhaps it’s voice wasn’t so loud.
