DH didn't want a dog

It took years, but we got our rescue dog last summer. Last night I heard DH telling the dog he was the best thing to have spent money on. From a man who didn't want a dog to a man who can't go out without buying something for the dog. Did the rest of us

My DH is the same. Liked dogs, said we could get one. Had her less than a week and overheard him telling the dog last night he’s the best thing that ever happened to him 😂😂😂 also looking for excuses to give him training treats. Oh I think he went the toilet again.. he ran over to me. I’ve had to tell him to reel it in or the dog will be obese!!!
