In HK we have the added bonus that the beaches here are currently 'closed' which means no lifeguards, which means when we do go out, she and all the other local dogs have free reign of the beaches they are usually banned from ... silver linings and all that!

Dog uprising when the lifeguards try to take back the beaches? This would make a great film!

There's a 6 month old border collie who is totally the wrong colour for a border collie. Scared of everything. Eats everything. Runs off down the street the second an opportunity presents itself. Loves laughter and will climb in your face if you laugh.

And an 18 month old staffy X Patterdale. Likes to sleep under the covers and will wake you up at 2am pawing you to lift them up for her. Hates other dogs looking at her owners. Chases her tail for hours. Very cuddly though.

Pooch has to win a prize for Resilience in the face of a Pandemic. It's a new category this year - a niche sector of the 'I'll take what I can get' category. Ddogs in this category are renowned for their ability to maintain sad faces, whilst always being patient.

Pooch - I recommend a book to you - Why does she do that? by Lucy BoneCollector. You'll learn a lot. Lucy too has been struggling with zero walks recently. Sound advice and a good read for when you're in isolation. Your coat is sleek still though, so I would hang in there Pooch until they can restore normality again.

Ok @JesusDontWantMeForASunbeam I think we have a contender against Beagle for Selfie of the Year. Nicely done.

@Skierrdery he really doesn't - when we rescued him I gave him a bone & he licked it round the floor. Still hasn't worked out coordinating his paws! 😬

Can I enter my rescue staffer? She's an old girl with a frosty face. Her hobbies include relay naps, eating chicken and knocking daddy over to get to the kitchen first (got to check her bowl for chicken!)😂 Had her four years this year and love her to bits 🥰

I was in dogs trust, got rehomed but was sent back to dogs trust because the resident dog didn’t like me.

Then I found my forever home. Guess who’s the boss?

Those long legs levitated our ddog from outside, in via the back door and landed on our kitchen table!! Not sure who was more shocked, us or her!!
