A friend of mine has started selling them. Do they serve any kind of purpose, or are they just for decoration?

Some dogs actually like clothes, for whatever reason. I had a westie who was so pleased with his first coat that I ended up getting him jumpers for when his hair was short. He would get the zoomies and run around showing off his outfit 😁.

IMO their purpose is to for my FIL/MIL to dress the dog up. But wetting them and cooling them is a great idea, it's a shame they only buy the dog festive ones.

My girl hates her coat & tries to hide when she sees it coming & I have to bribe her with chicken. However she hates baths more so I consider them a necessary evil.

My dog is nearly 9 years old and has only just accepted wearing a very light coat in the rain. When she was younger, if I put a coat on her she'd refuse to walk.

She's long haired and low to the ground and I'd love her to wear something that covered her more, particularly her undercarriage.

My dog wears a bandana to training classes to try and control his drool! Stops his fluffy chest getting soaked. He's a charmer really.

Why do people put different colour fancy collars on dogs?
Why do people wear jewellery?
