Boy or girl lab puppy?

Can't decide which to go for.

You should consider seasons. It’s best to avoid having them spayed too soon.

I wouldn’t know about labs as I have a giant breed and the advice is not before two at the very very earliest.
I would chat to the breeder and the vet. Spaying prevents much more than unwanted pregnancies. Pyometra is a killer. But I wouldn’t want to spay a bitch that hadn’t matured.

I’ve had both lab a bitch and dogs. The dogs are laid back well trained, good recall and they’re black. I do know of a few unruly black dogs though. Had a yellow bitch she was the alpha pup she was virtually untrainable if she didn’t want to do something she wouldn’t. She was great with small children, other dogs, round the house never sat on the sofa. Generally good out if she wanted to be. Would have defended me until death if she had to, swam in the sea with her if I’d have got into difficulty she’d have got me out. She was amazing but hard work at times
