New puppy advice

I'm picking up my new addition to the family on Friday and feel like I've forgotten something

I've registered him at a vets and have got pet insurance for him.
I have:
Crate
Blankets
Bed
Bowls
Toys
Food
ID Tag
Puppy pads
Poo bags
Odour destroyer for accidents

I still have to get:
Grooming set
Shampoo
Teething toys
Lead and collar/harness (going to measure him when i bring him home)

Have I forgotten anything obvious? Or are there any products you've bought that have been a godsend with puppy training etc?

Any recommendations on good teething toys would be great too

Also what treats do you give your dogs on a raw food diet? He's just on tripe for the first 5 days to get him used to it as he's been on dry so I'm presuming I have to avoid treats during that time but I will call the company I get his food from to double check.

I have read lots of books on puppy training but if anyone wants to throw advice and tips at me that would be brilliant

ready meals (for you and your family)
stair gate to stop him going upstairs or limit his access to parts of house
white vinegar (in bulk, it can be used to wash the floor and is a natural odor neutraliser) I used it on the whole floor after 3 weeks of training, to eliminate the numerous hotspots he kept returning to.

A comfortable bed (blow up mattress, camp bed, temporary divan) for downstairs if you aren't planning to keep crate in your room at the beginning. You will end up sleepingi downstairs for at least a few nights, and you might as well be comfortable. VERY IMPORTANT TIP!

Also decide which parts of the house the puppy can go in, and stick to it, or you will find yourself having to supervise him 24/7 for toilet accidents. Much easier to limit access for first two weeks so that you can crack toilet training more easily.

A soft cuddly waggly toy to put in his crate,. It will be his comforter - dpupp still loves his duck with chewable rope legs that he had at 12 weeks. some marketed Chew toys can be too hard for a young puppy, so often dog toys are ideal to chew and play with and tug at. toys with tassels and rope bits, toys with squeakers for stimulation but not bedtime, toys to fetch (light and easily carried) Dpuppy liked chewing ostrich tendon, the plaited type. Rawhide isn't recommended..

I would change his food over very slowly or you'll give him the runs, and diarrhoea in puppies can become serious very quickly. You need to just add a tiny amount of the new food to what he has been regularly fed on, see how if affects him, and then over a week, if all is okay, gradually replace the old with the new, so add to your list the type of food he is currently having. Apologies if this is what you are planning to do, but it reads as if you are putting him straight on to tripe. Your breeder may provide you with a starter pack of his regular grub.

I should have taken out shares when we got our first dog... (And it's not as though any of mine were hard to house-train, it's just a messy time).
