We have had our 12 week old Golden Retriever for two weeks and we introduced him to Royal Canine dry food on advice from the vets.
He developed watery bloody stools and we went to the vet who advised us it was the stress of moving to a new home and to put him on chicken and rice which we did
It cleared up and put him back on his food and the bleeding started again so we took him back to the vet who said put him back on the chicken and rice and give him pancur for three days and also gave us a pro biotic for four days
Well we had a different puppy he was bouncy and seemed more puppy like and the bleeding has stopped so we have reintroduced the Royal canine again and today the bleeding is back do you think it could be the food ?
Our puppy is still bouncy and happy but I'm worried that he won't be for long.

No ,he doesn't need a puppy food ,Millies wolfheart has everything a puppy needs .
They advise Countryside Mix for young pups ,I weans a litter on it last year & had solid poop from day one ,I was flabbergasted.

They do have a nutritionist you can speak to if you've any questions.

My understanding is that some brands have specific puppy foods because their adult foods don't contain everything a puppy needs.

My pup came with Royal Canin and it didn't agree with her. Changed to Millies Wolfheart and haven't looked back. If you give them a call, they have nutritionists who can advise on the correct food to try

Another Millies Wolfheart recommendation here. Our Springer pup came with Beta puppy food but her poo was awful so we changed her over to Millies gradually and she's been on it ever since, she's now 5. No smelly wind or runny poo and she loves it. We alternate between a couple of the 60/40 mixes for variety.

I use Skinners calmpuppycrazykids. It’s a good mid range food, it doesn’t cost a fortune and is fairly widely stocked.

And another Millie's concert here. I've been using it for a couple of years now. Delivery is fast and easy, but my local pet shop now stocks it and other high quality dog food. The difference in quality between foods is considerable and I think a lot of owners are taken in by 'naice' names.

I use Orijen dog food for my labrador. It is fantastic.
