Mine has a few dogs he is friendly with but his best friends are 1- his litter mate that we see weekly. They get soooooo excited to see each other.
2 A young dog of a friend. Gets away with murder with ddog, climbs all over him , takes his ball ect but ddog just lets him . Again is insanely happy to see him.

My Mum has a Not-so-Miniature Schnauzer. Her best friend lives across the road who has a female Jack Russell and whenever the two dogs are together it's pandemonium!!! They adore each other!!! She winds him up! They chase each other like crazy before collapsing on the nearest sofa all knackered and lick & sniff each other! Hehe 🐾

Our mongrel follows my dd everywhere. The minute she hears the shower stopping she's up the stairs lol. Just follows her everywhere. Up the stairs, down the stairs, while she's studying, practising music reading, watching tv, there she is - looking to just be around dd. The mutt I call her, though she does have a name. It's a nice dog who seems to have landed on its feet at home. So I think my dd is the Mutt's bff.

Mine has lots of doggy pals. After the school run we normally go to a local dog park area and all the dogs are brilliant together. They run around, share dog toys and treats, no snapping or fighting. I have a basset hound and its very cute because she isn't built for speed so tries really hard to keep up with the chase games. Its a great mix: lurcher, labradors, staffies, cockerpoos, dachshunds, whippets and a doberman. Her absolute best doggy pal is a springer spaniel pup and they just play constantly together, its so lovely!

I have three terriers of the same breed, 2 of them are happy with their own pack and really can’t be bothered with other dogs. One of them however loves a scrap! As the other 2 won’t actually scrap beyond a bit of a play fight she has a tendency to try to pick a fight with other dogs. She isn’t mean and has never fought a dog who didn’t consent but she does now have a few frenemies that we come across on walks Blush. Luckily they all seem to be equally robust terriers whose owners just roll their eyes. Funnily enough, the same tough little fighter is terrified of huskies and rolls over onto her back crying if one comes into view. She has never had a bad experience with one, she is just mental Grin

Our older Lurcher was an outside ddog before we got her. A poacher's ddog tbh.
Here she is well settled as a sofa sloth.
The most loving, well behaved house ddog now!!
And loving her new bff!!

DDog1 is friends with all our neighbours' dogs but his favourite is a little JRT cross who sticks his head through the bars of the gate and licks DDog1 on the willy when he stops to say hello Blush
