starcrossedseahorse funny you mentioning a new puppy. I know someone who rescued an old abandoned dog. Apparently the owners were traced but said they didn't want him back as they had a new puppy. Dogs are so loyal and to abandon them after all those years is unimaginable.

I couldn't bring myself to click "play" The stills of him jumping up at the driver's window and running after the car were enough to have me in tears.

My boy was abandoned as a puppy, right after Christmas, he's such a great dog and I can't imagine why anyone would have done that to him other than the fact he was a puppy, he wasn't even a chewer that destroyed stuff, I just don't get it. Worked out great for both of us I suppose.
