Using gloves for poo?

Hi,

What would you think if you saw a person put on latex gloves before picking up their dog's poo at the local woods/park. My GSD has pretty soft poos and no matter how hard I try I always get some on my hands, I have had enough of this! Would I look ridiculous?

I use the same bags as Mineisthebestdog. BiteyDog used to have many runny poos and I found a technique of using a tissue over the poo and then pick it up as normal with a poo bag the best.

Would love to have him on a raw food diet but he'd end up starving.

I don't think in the history of domestic dogs has a dog ever been found starving next to a bowl of food.

We have a labrador and feed him a grain free high protien kibble, quantity in its much less and so is quantity out.

On the odd occasion he finds something dead and eats it 🤮and then had a runny poo, I find holding the handles of the poo bag with my other hand keeps my hands well covered during lifting.

Could you take a wee look around and see if any of the companies are doing a trial? My dog was (I thought) fussy... Couldn't even be arsed to get off the couch to get his kibble. Since going raw (Bella and Duke) he enthusiastically eats, he smells better, his coat is fluffy like a cat (!) And of course his poos are better. Did the garden this morning and even though we've had biblical rain this week they were still poos not soup! Envy (not envy)

Also wrt eating other dog's poo - isn't that a sign of a nutritional deficiency?
