I bloody love my dog

She’s 11 months old and I have been to hell and back over the last six months. Yea gods it was hard at times.

But she is now everything we wanted and more.

Dc1 is no longer afraid of dogs. Dc2 has a best buddy to be out and about with. I have a reason to get up and go no matter how hard life is.

She is just the best dog that ever was.

MY Ddog is the best!
She’s funny, loving, good company and gets me out walking in all weathers.
She smells a bit, drops tons of hair everywhere and costs me small fortune, but I couldn’t wish for a better dog.

My dog is my insides.

In bed she squishes her butt into my back to sleep. All day and evening she's all independent. At night she's like - 'you're my human, I need you, this is my back to keep warm'.

I luffs her so much. She's my Wogglicious

My boy is my absolute world. My life would be incredibly grey without him and his love. God bless all dogs.

ConyoDog is part-dog part-muppet. Incredibly bouncy and loves chasing squirrels and bunnies - never caught one!

She thinks she's a chihuahua and squishes up into the smallest spaces on the bed and the sofa, slowly spreading out until she has the lion's share

We adopted her 2 years ago (i had a small thread on here as it was very sudden and she was freaking out, i got fantastic advice thanks) and she has developed in leaps and bounds.

I thought I really didn't like anything remotely dog and was fearful and disgusted by them. I caved into pressure from the rest of the family, which, I now know, could have gone horribly wrong. We just ploughed on in, in total ignorance. Pup number one was followed a year later by pup number 2. I did not expect the hard work, the mess, the effort, the fustration, the expense......but nor did I forsee the LOVE!!! I just couldnt have imagined we woyld all feel such love for them! Seven years on our dogs are just wonderful and have enriched our lives so much.

Just a side note if ALL of your dogs go missing tonight IT WASNT ME I PROMISE!!!!!!! crosses fingers behind back such beautiful babies....probably best thread I have ever seen on MN

Just another pic. Of my amazing girl (mum to the three bigger ones in post a few back) we lost her in July so I have to just give her, her dues because she was awesome and beautiful this is her a couple of years back.

All gorgeous dogs and nice to see all the love coming from this thread for dogs ... pinch myself to check I'm on MN.

My chap will be 12 next year, we had him when my youngest was 8yo, she's away in Uni now. My ds still lives here (part time), my Dh lives away due to work.

The majority of my time I spend with this dog, he's been here when my kids were growing up and the house was full all the time and I'm so grateful he's here now with me that the house is quieter.

He's one of those dogs never far away from me to give me company but not smothering me either.

Absolutely love him to bits.

Getting my dog was one of the best things I ever did.

There's a man that lives near me who took on a rescue dog a while ago. Beautiful dog but reactive as it had had a difficult start and been back and forth from the rescue to various homes.

I bump into him from time to time and to seeing what he's achieved with the dog in a relatively short time and how much he and the dog love each other is so incredibly heart warming.

That dog is settled into his loving forever home now and will never go back to the rescue and from the way he looks at his owner with such devotion it's almost like he knows, this is it now forever.

Sorry, I know that's not what your post is about but just thought I'd share. It makes my day when ever I see them.

My dogs are not the best dogs. I tell them this often - my previous dog was the best dog ever, my current two are joint second best, and shouldn't feel bad about that - first dog was definitely PFD and no other dog will ever compare.
