Will I still be able to hose down my dog during ban?

My poor GSD is really suffering in this heat. Will I still be able to hose her down..only for a few minutes twice a day during the hosepipe ban? You can use hose for medical response apparently.

Use a watering can. It is only hosepipes you can’t use. You can use other methods of using water in the garden.

Have you tried using a cooling coat for your dog, OP?

United’s ban doesn't start until 5th August anyway, & it seems to be the only actual ban announced so far
