Do I need a vet?

My puppy is 10 weeks old. I got her some chew sticks from the pet shop today because she is a typical puppy and likes to chew. Anyway she has eaten half of the stick and I suddenly panicked that they may not be edible. I did a quick google and they are edible but say not for dogs under 9 months!!! They were loose in the pet shop so there was no packaging and I assumed they would be ok. She has eaten about half of one. Do I need to get her checked? I feel awful!

If she's bright and happy, and not got anything stuck in her mouth I wouldn't worry too much. Some of the chews sold are not suitable for ANY dog, I am thinking here of the awful rawhide ones that are full of chemicals and can choke your dog.
If she shows signs of discomfort or lethargy, then you may need to give the vet a call.
Be prepared though for a poonami experience. She may need a light diet tomorrow.

She will no doubt be fine. Personally I would keep a close eye on her but try not to worry. I doubt anything worse than a runny bum will happen.
