Teething; can it wake up puppies?

Hi all, we have a lovely 16 week old puppy who has slept through in a crate since Just over 9 weeks old. He was definitely doing his landshark impersonation last night and was going mad at the woodroot chew do we suspect the start of premolars/molars. Can this wake them up and disturb a previously good sleeper? If so, any ideas as to how we stop it from happening. I don’t think he’ll let me put Bonjela on!!
Photo attached just ‘cos he’s cute when asleep (ain’t that the truth!)

Yep, the pain of new teeth breaking through can indeed disturb a good night's sleep. Fortunately, the teething stage doesn't last too long so just be careful not to reinforce ay behaviour you don't want permanently (e.g. barking to wake you up).

Make sure he has plenty he is allowed to chew. Mine really liked cold things so frozen carrots and a bone toy that you soaked in water then froze.

Keep an eye out for little baby teeth to save (if you like that kind of thing). They swallow most of them but you might find one or two lying about.

He's is very cute and a good colour match with the sofa! Keep anything of value that is chewable out of his way. I remover losing a few pairs of decent Italian shoes to teething.

userxx lolGrin! We didn’t match him honestly but it has been mentioned by a few people. Will do on the shoes...so far he’s more into wood so we’re keeping a close eye on the furniture!
