Hi all! We have the most amazing boy. we've had him from 9 weeks, he's now getting close to 14 weeks. He goes to training classes every week, is amazing with sit and wait. Toilet training is done. Recall is 50/50. Nippy bitey is still there although he's on a lead with me around my young children until he stops that. My problem is he's learned how to jump on the sofa and he isnt allowed lol!! Hes a french bulldog x staffy. If anyone can give me any tips I'd be really grateful!!

Ahhh no frenches cross staffs don't exist. They are not real - I refuse to accept he even is a dog without photographic evidence.

See the paperclip below the message box you type in. Click that and either take pic or use one from gallery.

One thing you can try 're the jumping on furniture is a house lead. A lightweight leaf you can just use to encourage him down with the command get Down. Reward accordingly although keep it low key or it will come the great jump on the sofa and get a treat game! alternatively accept the fact that your furniture and even your bed is no longer yours-

There is no paperclip.. we dont have a computer and it seems mobile wont let me share pictures dammit 😔 Hes on a lead during the day with me unless my little ones are asleep, he's asleep in his crate or I'm out in the garden with him. He only jumps on my sofa when i'm not on it, may I add, he won't go near dp sofa!

Whenever you are not on the sofa, turn the cushions up so that they block his way. Only take a few seconds to flip them down when you sit down and if you do this throughout his puppyhood he should give up trying.

When you are sat there just plonk him back on the floor if he tries to get up.
