Tinned food storage

I hope this doesn't sound silly, but... the food I buy is in standard sized tins (around 450g?). My dog eats half a tin a day, split into two meals. I take it out of the tin and put it in a tupperware carton in the fridge. Now, I can either feed it (probably unappetisingly) cold from the fridge, which I don't like to do, or put it in the microwave, but all her dishes are steel, so it means a faff transfering dog meat around, or else put a little hot water on it to warm it up. What do you do? Do dogs dislike really cold food or an I anthropomorphising too much?
She is a little dog btw, and has dried food as well. She can also be a bit of a fussy feeder.

I just put mine straight from fridge into his bowl. He doesn't seem to mind Grin

I'll try that later BiteyShark, and see what her reaction is! I just wonder if being so cold it gives it less flavour.

I haven't noticed any less vigour for his food in the evening than in the morning when I open his tin. I don't find his food less smelly (he has lots of fish flavours) from the fridge so presumably it still tastes as nice Grin

I warm it slightly in a bath of hot water from the tap just to take most of the chill off. It only takes a minute or two. Warming it makes it more smelly and dogs eat with their noses!

I take it out an hour before

I take it out an hour before, if I remember, and leave it on the counter to take the chill off. Or if I forgot, I just feed it cold! He doesn’t mind but fussy isn’t in his vocabulary.
