Someone remind me how hard it is having a puppy before I leap in again!

Just that really. I have a 5 year old rescue lab (had him since 11 weeks) so we have survived the puppy stage once before but now I am on the verge of bringing another pooch home. Problem is, I seem to have forgotten how hard it was first time round and am remembering with rose tinted specs firmly in place. Will it be harder with two...or easier?

Wow, looking through this thread has made me realise how lucky we are with our puppy! He is now almost 7 months old and has slept through every single night since we got him, in the early days I had to set alarms throughout the night to get up and let him outside. He has never pooed in his crate/cage and has probably pooed in the house 5 times in all, if that. He has never chewed a single thing, doesn't even destroy his own toys!
He is a Bullmastiff and a lovely, big, friendly boy. He is independent and happy to play on his own but he also loves snuggles.

It is safe to say I have been thoroughly spoiled and will never be getting another puppy, I am sure it will be payback next time!

Wow ChinwagCharlie - I have to say, that I was pretty lucky with our lab too, hence why I need reminding that it cannot have been as easy as I am remebering Grin I don't want to up set the apple cart I guess and set myself up for months of stress! Trouble is, I cannot get the idea of a second dog out of my head
