Collar and torch recommendations please for darker evenings

Autumn is fast approaching and I am after some recommendations for reflective collars, or Ines with lights. Plus a good torch for me please.

I want to be able to walk in the small woods behind where I live, but need to know where my pooch is.

I would get a bright led head touch to keep your hands free.

dh has a head torch for wandering about fields at night, puts it on over a woolly hat. Looks ridiculous but does a great job. I don't do fields at night, I stick to the streets where there is lighting.

We had a light up collar last year (cheap one from Amazon), it worked and was bright,,but I didn't find it particularly good at any distance, especially when he was facing away from us and collar was easily obscured by fur/folds. reflective jackets are good for visibility (with a torch) but get dirty quickly, I might try a light up harness this year instead of just the collar.

Was chatting to a dog walker today. She uses a light up one that you recharge using a USB connection. She has a German Shepherd and the collar is blue. She said it was quite amusing as when he was running round a local park where 'youths' gather to take some recreational drugs, they all scarpered as they though he was a police dog!

Has anyone seen any good light up harnesses? Ddog's fur is so thick around his throat that collars get lost

I did a quick google search and the prices vary from peanuts on eBay to £££££ and I'm confused...

I have been though several expensive collar lights but had the same problem that they don't necessarily work very well on shaggy dogs.
Last year I bought some of these incredibly cheap on Ebay which are slightly better as they hang down but can equally be attached to a lead, harness, coat toggle etc. They have also proved to be waterproof as my dogs swim in them. I don't think they'd be seen from miles away like the expensive ones, but in the dark I wouldn't want my dogs going too far anyway.
Added bonus is I have different colours so can identify each black dog in the dark!
For yourself, agree an LED headtorch is the only way.

Just thinking aloud but for those who already have a harness and want a reflective or light up one would the equine bridle and rein strips work? Might try digging mine out from when I had horses and see if it will.
