Anyone house trained their dog and then suddenly he started peeing again? Literally within the last two weeks when we have started decorating. Would this be why? Marking his scent on new smells? We've been having plastering done etc. He is 10 months old and also booked in to be neutered on Monday. Has this helped your dogs being neutered? Being 6 months pregnant he is driving me insane.

For example I open the back door to let him out tell him to go out stood right beside him and he decides to pee on the fresh plaster. Just had a breakdown in my kitchen because he is stressing me out. He has been to the vets and he is fit and healthy so it's not medical. He doesn't do it in our bedroom at night so I know he can hold himself too!

I think it could well be the new smells affecting him. You might need to put him back on a schedule of going out to toilet and go with him to the area you normally use.

Maybe spray new plaster with one of those citronella anti biting sprays as that will put him off.

Invisible I have been letting him out every 30 mins and he refuses to actually pee outside or does a small pee. Comes in and pees in front of me!

I will try the spray but we are needing to paint the walls once they're dried out so I'm guessing that will just mask the smell of the spray. Plus it's our whole house being plastered atm except our bedroom. So frustrating as he was so good before

Does he go in a crate? You might need to keeping him in there when you can't watch him. You can buy a spray to spray outside where you want them to pee I don't know if that works. Also I have been told those pet calming diffusers are good so you could try that near his crate or sleeping area.

Also work on getting him to pee on command while you taking him out so you can get him to go when you want him to.
