Covering a sore on back

Has anyone had any success with covering a wound or sore with the canine equivalent of a plaster?

In case you are wondering why, it's in an awkward place and so a bandage won't work as there's nowhere to tie it and it falls outside a surgical shirt. We've been trying with various types of collar all week and they've all been a disaster one way or another. We've even tried dog diapers and they were just in the wrong place too and human pants were too easy for her to pull off. It's getting so red and we really need to stop the licking so I'm thinking doggy plasters but no idea how/if they work (The vet just says cover it up).

This one situation where the cone of shame is totally necessary if neither pants nor t-shirt work.

We used a toddler's baby grow with the feet cut off and a cone of shame. She was so miserable with the cone of shame that we did buy an inflatable collar from the vet a few days later which was brilliant and much more comfortable. DDog's wound wasn't dressed though, just had to be covered so she didn't interfere with it.

Maybe we can try a big baby grow - thanks!

It's awful, the inflatable collar isn't big enough and with the big cone she is either totally immobile, literally standing where we put it on (for an hour once when we decided she would have to get used to it) or bashes her head against the wall to get it off.
