Weeing

My dog is a 4 yo yorkiepoo. He has always weed on peoples shoes when they say hello to him, also whenever we in the family come in - hes overexcited basically.

Now he has started weeing in his crate at night ConfusedConfused I let him out at 11pm then again at 6.30am (although hes not desperate he takes some minutes to wake up before going out)
My feeling is its some sort of protest about going in his crate, he sleeps on my sons bed any chance he gets, hes a stubborn personality & tried to bite me when I put him to bed last night!

What can I do? Its affecting my relationship with him, making the house stink etc

Is he afraid of you? Did you see if he weed as you approached him or bent over him to put the lead on? Sometimes dogs nervous wee and sounds like it could be that? Behaviourist will be able to let you know if it's that. Good luck

Sad no I don't think so, hes a loved and cared for dog, he sits on my lap & licks (Shock) my feet. Blimey I hope that's not it, Im not a shouter so I can't think why. I know dogs are very perceptive & i wouldn't say i get cross as such but i cant hide my displeasure to find wee inside. And the look on his face suggests defiance almost. on the rare occasions I've cried hes come over & looked very concerned so he is a perceptive dog. Alls been fine until this evening when I went to put his lead on to go out for a last stroll & the did a massive puddle right on the front mat Confused not just an excited tinkle. Then he looked up at me as if to say yeah whatever deal with it & just trotted back to the lounge SadSad gahhhhh what is going on with him

Get a good behaviouralist otherwise you are just blind to what is really going on. Given that you have been to the vets I cannot see what other option you have now than that.
