I've just started a new dog related business and I'm doing research into what must have products you used and loved. I'm hoping to find unusual items like my water repellent merino coat for my Maltese

Do you mean fashion accessories or useful ones? First things that come to mind are all practical- collapsible water bowls, paw washer, fox poo spray!

I had a bit of difficulty finding an indoor dog fleece for night time for our old rescue (got one now). I love looking at quality leads/collars. Durable toys are always a winner. And yy to the fox poo spray!

Dog bedding that's washable and also that can wash and tumble dry

My dog likes a bed which she can snuggle into/under -like the collapsible igloo beds they do for cats.cant find one anywhere so have resorted to a cat one and also made one myself so that she can snuggle and hide at nighttime.

*Pumpkinpie I'm sure you can get those beds, I've seen them for whippets. Almost like duvet sleeping bags for dogs. Will google.

I think there's a real lack of nice collar/lead combos. I have a female dog and the options seem to be naff pink cheap rhinestone ones... she's a huge Rhodesian ridgeback so it's not quite appropriate

Dog sweaters made out of natural fabrics in plain colours, not nasty polyester in hot pink/with rhinestones/stupid slogans. My dogs both feel the cold and need sweaters, but I just want something plain and practical.

Also sweaters/coats that cover most of the tummy. Both dogs have almost bald tummies and it's so hard to keep them covered in the winter.

Jumpers/Coats in a 16 inch back length. They tend to jump from 15 (too short) to 17 or 18 (too long).

I second nice collar/lead/harness combos. Not a lot between poring and blingy.

try equifleece or hotterdogs for fleecy dog jumpers.

CocoChou, MeggieMoo does the most beautiful collars and leads in every pattern you can imagine, and they are very strong and well made

I agree about collars and leads. Some nice leather ones that aren't black, brown, red or pink would be amazing - without rhinestones and studs.

Puzzle/interactive toys. There really aren't many aside from the ball things you put treats into.

Paw washing systems.

Clothing in larger sizes ( a ton of stuff for small dogs, but have trouble finding it in staffie and above sizes). Said staffie also hates the rain and would love to get her a rainsuit type thing ( like ones toddlers wear). She would like these purely for practical reasons, she has very fine fur and is sensitive to a lot of things, not that she is a princess :0) ahem.

You do know your female dog can wear a blue or any other colour collar? As far as I know collars don't fit differently depending on sex? And she won't grow a penis if you put her in a "male" dog collar? The dog really doesn't care if humans can't tell boy/girl by what she's wearing...

Just checking the gender stereotypes haven't totally extended to animals..
