Anybody had a doggy DNA test done

...... are they worth it?
We have a beautiful pup, but literally not a bloody clue what's in him.

He gets a lot of attention as his colour is quite unusual and everybody asks us what breed he is.

Out of curiosity I would love to get a doggy DNA test done but wondered if they are worth it?

Has he not got that blue colouring?

I liked the blue staffs but they were £££ and I always rescue anyway.

I can see Staffy but a longer version of the face if that makes sense.

Whatever he is he's bloody lush.

The first pics a blue Staffy I think the colours similar. The second is my Staffy x Shepherd (supposedly) she's got a staffy face but longer as well iyswim.

He's already a bit big for a actual staffy isn't he? His paws are huge, looks like he'll get a deal bigger.

Beautiful dog in any case.

Those paws are not staffy paws.

I liked the blue staffs but they were £££ and I always rescue anyway.

It's bonkers that people are still trying to sell blue staffies as "rare" and charging ridiculous prices for them for no other reason than their colour.

The majority of staffies registered with the KC these days are blue. It's getting to the point where there's a real risk the other colours are going disappear.

Scrappysmammy · 18/12/2016 20:29

Possibly a blue staffy cross with a greyhound or lurcher. Those eyes though!

ChardonnayKnickertonSmythe · 18/12/2016 20:30

Told you it would be fun, OP.

UnbornMortificado · 18/12/2016 21:16

Trionic I didn't know that. About £1500 still in my area £400 other colour with papers and £200 without.

Sadly all on a local selling page right now and "ready for Christmas" AngrySad
