Eric answers to a range of names because we all call him different things. So depending on who it is and how he's behaving, he's called Erky, Irksome, Bloody Hound ,Poodle Doodle and Baby but the one that he objects to and actually whines in protest at is Baboon Grin He's called that because last time he was groomed the groomer was a bit over enthusiastic around his nether regions and he had a very nearly bald bum.

Oberon is his proper name.... He goes by obi but more usually obidog, obster, dogster, muppet, monkey, monkeydog ... Since he was a teeny puppy we have walked with another cocker called Dexter, obidog responds to Dexter too!

MummySparkle · 04/06/2016 20:48

Chewy answers to:
DogDog, dogus, chew, chewface, choopaloop, chewchew, and probably lots more!

Toooldtobearsed · 04/06/2016 20:56

DDog1 never needs to be called anything. Dylan is the original velcro dog. I think he would respond to 'Jesus', 'willyoubloodymove' or 'OutOut'.
DDog2 is Daisy, Dais, Smelly dog (she is a roller), sweeties, teatime and come on!

However, when playing with other doggy pals, they are completely deaf. I could shout 'free fillet steak, Here!, Now! ' and would get no response......

Stumpalina and stumpy.

Sunsher, as in ray of sunshine in love with the world.

She is an old lady and knows Sunsher as well as her own name after all these years.

TondelayaDellaVentamiglia · 04/06/2016 21:04

pieface, babyface, babydog, babydogfacepuppychild, floofypants, ninnymuggins, teeeeeeeeenytiny ....this last one is highly ironic, but he really does believe it is possible he could be a handbag dog

the other one is a bit too sensible to entertain nicknames but likes LargeandInCharge.

Iknownuffink · 04/06/2016 21:06

rumblingDMexploitingbstds · 04/06/2016 21:07

Boo boo, Pickle, Trouble, Monster Munch, Princess, Floradora, Lady Jane (No idea where that one comes from) Blush I could go on.... if I'm yelling for her across a meadow and am getting ignored, a good loud 'oi madam!' usually does it.

Thankfully the poor dog is a happy go lucky type with the patience of a saint!

He's a beautiful old man now and answers to all of these, only one is close to his name!
My 3year old now calls him these and my partner has a special whistle tune that he does which draws him out from anywhere.

Daisy is also known as Daiz, Mrs Deakin and Daisy Potter. She also looks up when we address DS who is called Dave. In fact out of Ddog and DS, the one you are calling ignores while the other looks up. She knows DH is called Dad.

JoffreyBaratheon · 09/06/2016 15:47

Ah yes, our dog knows me as Mum, my husband as Dad, but all 5 kids are called 'Baba' (in a fake Brummie accent because she's a staffy) and she knows what 'Baba' means (If I say "Go find Baba!" she'll run off to look for a boy...

MrsLouisTomlinson · 09/06/2016 15:58

Wotsit and what's this? Grin

Lokibuddyboo · 09/06/2016 16:38

Mines called Loki and answers to the following:-
Loki
Loki bear
Slinky malinky
Sir Loki poki cutie pie - my neices and nephew always call him this and he always comes running when he hears it, so as a last resort it's a guaranteed way to get him to recall
( but you do get some funny looks shouting this in your local park lol )

ImBrian · 09/06/2016 18:20

Budweiser and what's this?
