Feeding veggies to your dog.

At the moment my springer has meat and some biscuit for his food.

I want to start trying to add some veg in slowly. But after reading up on it every website has different things you can give them or not give them and different ways to cook it.

So my questions are ...

  1. Do you give veg to your dog?
  2. What do you give them ?
  3. How do you cook it?
  4. How much ?

My dog's food has carrot and peas in it.

She likes the odd raw carrot, loves apple and water melon. She's spent the whole winter searching for the spring grass to come back, which it has now of course, and has that each year while it's in season. She really loves grass.

Mine are dustbins and will eat anything dropped on the floor so get a lot of bits and peelings I didn't intend them to with no ill effects. I do consciously give them carrots and they love them!
