What is a day out at Crufts like?

DH and I have been thinking about getting a dog for a few years and as I've never owned a dog before, we've spent ages doing lots of research.

I just realised Crufts is next weekend. Would a day there maybe be a good opportunity for a newbie to dogs to see/learn more about dogs?

Apols if this sounds a bit clueless...that's because I am!

Always keep in mind if you need to get from one hall to the other it is often easier to exit the show, walk through the concourse and come back in!!!
