Cleaning artifical grass a dog uses

We had our garden done at the end of July this year and replaced the murky dead grass swamp with a lovely green artificial grass and it has been brilliant!!

Even through we've had a terrible summer in Scotland the artificial grass wasn't muddy and full of puddles, so ds could go out and play footie on it with his pals most days, sometimes even in the rain!

We also have a dog, he doesn't pee on the grass does poo on it
, but his poos are generally firm and easy to pick up and if needed I spot clean with a bowl of hot water and fairy liquid. I just feel its about time we starting thing about giving the grass a clean.

What do you use to clean your artificial grass that is dog friendly and does what ever aritifical grass needs (does it need an algaecide for moss; anti bac for the dog etc?) How often do you clean yours?

I just chuck a whole thing of eco friendly washing up liquid on ours then hose it down and it smells lovely

I was thinking of using Fairy Liquid, but imagined the neighbours would think we were having an Ibiza style foam party in the garden Grin

I regularly pressure hose, disinfect with cheap pine stuff and occasionally zoflora or bio washing liquid to smell nice

And algae stuff every now and then though the pressure wash seems to clear it

is disinfectant safe for dogs? I've read various different reports saying some are some aren't, some only if you dilute heavily and wait until it's completely dry?

We have an artificial lawn, and the hose doe the job! The lawn will be laid on top of a thick bed of sand which helps with drainage.
Poo gets picks up straight away (and we feed raw diet so it is always very firm), but if there are any bits left over, we hose it away. A normal hose with a spray attachment is fine.

The rain washes away all the wee, but in the summer it got a bit wiffy after a few dry weeks, so we mixed up a solution of Milton and threw it over the lawn, left it for an hour and then rinsed it away with the hose. All fine after that...

The people who supplied the lawn said it was bleach-proof, but we haven't had to use anything stronger than milton and water

We use a detergent spray on poo-spots - though DDogs are firm. We haven't it down long but plan an overall clean with detergent.

How about Jeyes fluid?
