On his walk the other day Eric was disturbed mid poo by one of his doggy friends. He promptly sat in it Envy necessitating a bum wash when we got home. Silly dog though, then spent ages drying his chin and face on the rug (which were bone dry) because his bum was wet Hmm
Today I took him with me to the local town and he sat in the car with dh whilst I nipped to the butcher's, grocer's etc. Whilst out the heavens opened so when we got home Eric wouldn't jump out of the car because the pavement was wet Hmm when it had been dry when we left. What was even more ridiculous was that dh and I ended up juggling many bags whilst carrying Eric from the car.

Mine is pretty nuts, but mainly due to old age. Won't walk on gravel unless desperate. We have gravel all round our house. Always have had.

Also won't do..
Long grass
Wet grass
Any path with stones in.
Any walk directly from the house, but will walk if put in the back of the car and driven round a bit.

Makes walking a PITA at the moment, and it's unlikely to change.

One of mine gets easily spooked and when this happens she does a jump twist that in slomo would be like levitating straight up in the air by about a foot arnd then performing a 360 before landing again. It doesn't help her get away from whatever danger she has perceived.

My dog is nuts in the opposite way. He never stops to think first and is scared of nothing. He'll go through bushes, over walls, chase anything that moves, do massive leaps that he can't even hope to complete without a tumble, run into walls and door frames cos he doesn't look where he is going in his massive hurry to live life Smile

Mines taken to throwing his favourite toy full pelt at something - wall/chair/sofa etc then bombing on top of it. Won't poo if there's anyone else around which is a PITA. Goes through random phases of refusing to eat dog food, he isn't ill just looks at it as if to say "pffttttt I'm not eating that rubbish". Makes the strangest noise ever when he yawns. He's nuts... No make that stark raving bonkers!

Murph has a talent where if its raining he can stand on the back step with his two front paws still on it and sort of twist himself to have a wee inches outside the door. Its impressive actually!

He's also very good at falling asleep on the edge of things, just lately the sofa. Eventually he'll drop off it and wake up with a start. He also runs into things, especially the patio doors, oh and he hides when he sees the hair dryer, despite the fact I've never used it on him.
