She gave herself enemas at the beach - sand and seawater went straight through. She has eaten the best part of a body brush. I really hope it wasn't her who polished off the remains of the bonemeal for the garden. I dont think she would have such a runny tummy if she had eaten it.... It may have been her who ate a big tub of butter. Frankly nothing is safe. I really hope she doesn't hurt herself... And that she grows out of it!

No we have entirely the opposite, Eric is Mr Fussy with not a big appetite. He spits things out which I never knew it was something dogs could do. Around twice a week he refuses his dinner but he seems to be thriving regardless.

No! Ddog chewed anything and everything as a pup. Electrical wires, the dining table and chairs, and the video camera to name a few. He grew out of it by about 2 1/2 though. (Sorry!!).

I have a pup like this. I have had to make my house very minimalist and invested in lots of kong toys which has helped! I still muzzle her in the garden though and she ate a stone and caused serious problems!

My friends dog has also had 3 surgeries for eating foreign objects. If it's that bad I would try the muzzle as its not worth the risk, they usually grow out of it eventually!

I found her yesterday tangled up in a ball of garden string. It was a BIG ball of plastic twine. I thought only cats did that....

My 7 month old mini schnauzer had to have surgery 2 months back- for eating several strands of mop head. We puppy proofed everything. Who thinks to move the mop?? Silly dog. Grin (was worrying at the time though).

it hasn't stopped him going for unsuitable things so far- but I live in hope he will grow out of it.

Thankfully none of our three hellbeasts are remotely food orientated, I can put pieces of cheese, hot dog or anything treaty in their food bowls and they'll eat around them. They never touch any dropped food/try to scrounge, always refuse treats no matter what the time of day or occasion, and when they get fed they eat as much as they want and leave the rest. They never eaten anything they're not supposed to, or chewed anything, never mouthed or nipped, never jumped up, never stole things, they've all been pretty amazing.
