How can I entertain my dog?

My dog now has an arthritic front leg so I can't walk her for more than about 20mins per day (have been to the vet about this). She also has to wear a basket muzzle when we're out as she's nervous of strangers and they have an annoying tendency to pat her on the head without warning. This means I can't play her favourite game of playing fetch as she can't pick the ball up.

She's a pretty lazy dog and if I play fetch in the garden with her she only runs after it once or twice, whereas she always did in the park. I just feel sorry for her as I feel like she's bored a lot! She likes playing hunt the treat but that only lasts about fiveor ten minutes. Any ideas how I could entertain her more at home? Or am I worrying about nothing and she's probably quite happy sitting in her basket?!

Playing fetch isn't great for front leg issues tbh as you've got lots of sudden stops and jarring them when they run.

But I use a glove to play with my muzzled dog, he can pick that up through the gaps.

I've extended finding hidden treats to random stuff, so he can now hunt out things like hidden teabags if I show it to him first.

Clicker training is pretty good for making them think as they have to work out what you clicked for.

Then there's all the food related ones, but, you'd have to cut her food back to make sure she doesn't put weight on.

Kongs, raw bones and those puzzle toys you put food in are all handy.

We take our dog to heelwork to music training classes. Could you train your dog some of the moves for that, I am sure you can YouTube them. Also there are a number of brainwork games books for dogs that you can buy

101 things to do with a box
If your dog isn't a chewer then tis game can be a good brain exercise. Reduce her meals to make up for it though

I tried 101 things to do with a box once... It did not go as planned.

Apparently boxes are for leaping on and ripping to shreds in the fastest time caninely possible, there's literally no time for clicking for anything else, lol.

Still kept him busy I suppose.
