Unsuitable food for dogs....

The pup really enjoys munching jerusalem artichokes. Size for size, she's eaten 2, so I would have eaten 20. Fart fart fart. One of the dogs ate 2 cream slices today. I was so looking forward to that. The pup has been eating a cycle helmet and I find loom bands coming out of her bottom. In an ideal world all our belongings would be in a giant hammock hanging from the ceiling and the dogs would be on the ground.

Where my sisters whippet is concerned nothing is safe.
A extra large Thorntons easter Egg, numerous wax crayons ( he pops rainbows afterwards), the insides of nappies, two disposable razors, the mesh of a joint of beef, a rubber glove and a thong are just some of the stuff he's pooped out.
It's a constant struggle to make sure he's not eating anything he shouldn't as his favourite hobbie seems to be bin diving.
Thankfully so far he's not been ill or needed the vets we are constantly amazed at what he poops out.

A hole in the wall to the brickwork
Tree roots & earth
A whole packet of Jaffa cakes wrapper et al
The single apple I'd lovingly nurtured on our new tree. bastard.
A sheepskin rug. That was quite unpleasant to pull out of his bottom.
An entire chicken carcass
Bread - he'll go to great lengths for bread
The logs for the fire.
Icecubes - he will do tricks for these
Roasted peppers - as above
Egg shells
Any sweets, crisps etc
Curry
Whole packets of butter

All the apples from the tree last year - and they are baking apples.

I'm sure he went in the garden every day last summer thinking 'better just check if any more have fallen off'.

I don't think we managed to have one apple from the tree ourselves.

Full pack of butter including foil, blackberry bush thorns etc, chilli pepper, nothing seems to have any effect on his guts

Percy Flowers

So these are all different breeds? There's no particular breed that's any worse in particular? Please don't say labs.

My mams Labrador ate the landing window sill. Three times before my dad gave up and and got a stairgate.

Pup doesn't seem to be farting for Britain despite all the fartichokes she's eaten. She has started digging them up now. i hope they won't do her any harm. I love them, but less so once they've been through a dog.

Our land has eaten most things he shouldn't most notable chewed items include the iPad and iPhone and several remote controls!

I forgot my dog's most annoying nibble - he has a peculiar fondness for trying to eat zips and buttons, but only off my clothes if I'm foolish enough to leave them where he can get at them. He's ruined several fleeces (maybe he's been reading S&B) as they're useless without a working zip, and I keep having to replace the button on my walking trousers. Fortunately metal riveted jeans buttons merely get a bit dented.

My earplugs have been vanishing for a few weeks, picked up a poo in the yard earlier that was florescent green. On closer inspection I now know where my ear plugs have been going too...

Adora, the worst I've come across for eating things is my mums shih tzu. He ate a whole strip of water tablets complete with foil (night at vets with a charcoal stomach rinse) and a leftover firework casing (3 days vets, gastroenteritis). He's also eaten door frames, chair legs, one welsh dresser, 2 pairs of reading glasses and anything else he can spot before you do. He's two in April, thankfully he seems to be growing out if it.

I'm sure most dog owners have at one time or another had the unpleasant task of pulling something out of their dogs butt that they shouldn't have eaten.
Dogs do seem to like to eat things they really shouldn't.
