My pooch is going to sleep tomorrow

We are devastated. Our life and lifestyle revolves around our gorgeous golden retriever.

Any tips on how to deal with this. My husband is in pieces.

Lost my first dog very suddenly and unexpectedly last year. I had another dog within a week. Dd was beside herself and I couldn't cope with the house feeling so empty. I found it helped.

Maybe it's the unexpected nature of it Viva, I was the same. I'm now trying hard not to get a second dog, we don't need a second dog right now (or every really) while training up new rescue, but I keep looking - think it's in case that horrible no dog at all in the house feeling happens again.
