Firstly she will be going to the vet tomorrow when dp is home!

Last night we noticed her eye was 'strange' and today in daylight I've tried to have a better look and my mum has looked and outside her right pupil was dilated and cloudy.

I have googled and the most likely is she has glaucoma and the worst is a tumour.

Has anyone got/had a dog with glaucoma? Is it manageable? She is supposedly a max age of 7 according to the rescue but she had a shit start to life well first 5ish years of her life.

This does my anxiety no good, I thought my health anxiety was just for the humans of the house turns out it's extended to the dog my 3rd baby

Her eye tumour was benign, I almost cried in the vets when the vet told us, still not quite out the woods yet waiting on the 'fatty lump' biopsy but it was the eye that was most concerning, thank you everyone on this thread for your thoughts and wishes I am most grateful xxx

Brilliant news! I have been thinking of her. My terrier had a fatty lump that the vet who removed it thought looked very sinister indeed. We waited on tenterhooks with my poor old dog looking as though someone had tried to saw him in half. i was dreading the results as I knew if it was bad we would deeply regret the surgery which had ended up being pretty extensive (6" or more wound). But it was benign! He lived for many years after that, and recovered well from the surgery. Good luck lovely Rose!

Results are all back, her fatty lump is indeed just a fatty lump, she has spent the evening celebrating by taking over the sofa and farting Grin

Thank you all for your thoughts and wishes over the last 2 weeks, it has been the longest 2 weeks of my life.

Her eye seems to be healing fine we think, all the swelling and redness has gone and its a bit dry and crispy!!

Glad that your lovely dog is doing well and that the lump was also benign. Really good news. Have a Wine and a Cake. !
