kong ideas

hi, I'm new to using a kong and want ideas as to what to put in it.

My dog is intolerant to rice. She eats burns pork and potato dry kibble.

I've looked online for recipes and tried a few - natural yoghurt, blueberries and banana all mixed together and frozen. She wasn't interested at all. I also tried stuffing it with just treats but she got that out too easily.

I haven't tried peanut butter yet, not sure if she will like it or how to use it? I don't want to make her sick or to have runny poo.

Ideas welcomed.

My dog's fairly adamant that fruit and peanut butter aren't food.

He likes scrambled eggs though and chicken - I freeze them and they last longer...you could maybe try meat mixed with mashed potato as well?

Loads of ideas here.

I bought a jar of baby food - nice cheesy baby food.

I layered this with the usual biscuits.

The boy liked it. The jar will last me a week.

I put in wet food and freeze, sometimes with a bit of primula in each end after to get them going. I use NatureDiet but that is rice based. Not sure about non-rice equivalents.

We use value meat paste for a junk food treat.

You can whack some mince in, freeze and you're good to go.

Mine likes peanut butter and chicken or dairylea cheese spread and chicken .

We use their usual kibble mixed with leftover chicken, mince, fish, sausage or cheese and plug the ends up with peanut butter or cheap pate.
