need a non moulting dog because ds has asthma triggered by shedding dogs...such a bummer

we had a beardie , we lost her 5 yrs ago but ds wasn't allergic to her as she didn't shed

Ideal dog would be miniature poodle , not with poncy cut.

Anyone have one and vouch for their incredible manliness as pets...or indeed have a suggestions of another breed.

I think Bedlingtons are probably the least terrier like terriers (if that makes sense?) You can also get bedlingtonx lurchers - the right one might be interesting although you'd have to check on the moulting qualities.

I have a beddy greyhound cross, very elegant snd dkeek, but also, in DH's words " a proper dog" .

As everyone is advocating their own breeds Wink may I recommend the noble lurcher.

They are not pedigree dogs, and nowhere near the sort of price as a cockapoo or other more fashionable breed.

I thought it was just MY DH who wanted a manly dog, whatever that means. Lol

We have a spanish water dog - completely non moulting, and generally great for people who are allergic - wool coats, not fur! No grooming, just a bath and a clip every couple of months.
Wonderful temperament and brilliant family pet.

Labradoodles aren't guaranteed not to shed - and there is no way of knowing until they are over 1.
