When to worry?

Our 8 year old Jack Russell has never been ill - occasional vomit or tick but that's it. I have no idea what to do/when to worry about her.

We found 2 patches of sick when we woke this morning. She seemed fine, we fed her and cleaned it up. She was sick another couple of times (breakfast returned) but seemed happy in herself and was drinking and keeping down water. I walked her as normal and she was fine, usual energy etc, but wretched a bit a couple of times, brought up saliva but I didn't see anything else. She's now brought up some bile, not expressed much interest in her dinner, but managed a short trot. Her poo is normal (sorry TMI) consistency, colour etc. Her tail is up, she's responding normally and is just a bit quiet and not as food obsessed as normal. if this was the DC I'd not even be considering a Dr, but as she's never ill I feel really anxious about her. Do I ring the vet? Wait til morning? Could it be serious?

TIA

I would ring the vet
If it's gastritis it can become dreadful quite quickly and you don't want to deal with the emergency vet. Is yours still open? I would go

Thank you. Vets was already shut but she's kept water down and I'm going to sleep downstairs with her.

How is she today?

Thanks owl lady, she's fine now, completely back to normal. She was quiet on Thursday but no vomiting (I slept downstairs with her weds night). She's happy & perky now. Thanks so much.
