Would this work, do you think?

We are currently looking after a dog whose family's circumstances have changed. We've had her since July.

Her owners miss her dreadfully, but for various reasons cannot offer her as good a home as we can. I was wondering whether we could do some sort of dog share, where they have her for some school holidays, for example, but her main home is with us. She is a cheerful and adaptable little dog, who only took a couple of days to settle in with us when she came. Is this at all a sensible option, or would it be too disruptive for her? What do you think?

I think if te dog sees them regularly between holdiays then it could work as she would be familiar with then amd staying with them wouldnt be traumatic. I would suggest they do sone of the walks each week and maybe have her to stay over every couple if weeks for a night or two so she sees them as family.

Can't do that- they live too far away Sad

Hmm, could they visit once a month and take him for a weekend?

I think it depends in the dog in all honestly. I remember you taking the dog in curlew because it is a BT like mine. I can hand on heart say that my BT is such a little attention whore he could flit between homes and people without the slightest problem.

My parents regularly had various friends dogs whilst they went on holiday etc. dogs seemed to enjoy it Grin not much different to putting them into kennels etc.
