Poor jaydog seems to be starting to startle at what I dunno, the other day dd1 came in from college said hello to him and he went to say hello and then ran away, the day before it was me moving a carrier bag, tonight it was dd1 again getting her laptop out of her bag he flew into the hall , we got the biting and jumping sorted I thought he had settled well , now this , nobody has hit him (by accident) we havnt changed routine, what could be wrong with him ?

It could go on for a while mrsjay. My girl is almost 2yo and has recently been horribly troubled by random snowmen. Plastic carrier bags flying in the street set her off terribly, although we've nearly conquered that one.

I live in a victorian house. When we first moved here she was about 4 months old and would constantly bark at what I assume must have been the 'ghost' who lived at the top of the stairs;I still have no idea what it was, but she took great exception to it and would fly up the stairs to remonstrate with it. Anyway, she seems to have scared it off as that particular bit of behaviour has stopped. For now.

My puppy randomly got freaked out by a gift bag last week - it had pictures of moshi monsters on it, I find them a bit weird, but I fail to see how they're scary to a dog...

MrsZoidberg · 15/03/2013 10:31

Could DD have given him a static shock? I'm full of static at the moment and all the dogs are wary of me - no more cold noses in the palm of my hand Grin Mind you, they're making up for it with body slams

mrsjay · 15/03/2013 11:07

oh maybe MrsZ she was bewildered

Boxes here. They can't be looked at or walked around. Only barked at from a safe distance.

foolonthehill · 15/03/2013 13:47

oh yes...first looks adoringly (play with me) then get's grumpy and huffy, then growls then it's all out warfare........
