Change from proplan to Symply 8 weeks ago, coat softer and smells less but I'm not sure she likes it as she's not really eating it much, unless it has cheese added. I've been soaking it as i heard that is better for teething, but still only eating slightly more.

Wondered if there's an even better food out there. She's 5 months old and a mini schnauzer.

On another note, she has fishy breath, is this teething or something else (Anal glands have been mentioned Blush)?

Orijen is excellent.

Our puppy is on Taste of The Wild, which is grain free and bloomin expensive. Zooplus on the internet seem to be cheapest. He is ok with all three flavours but I would add I don't think, in my limited experience, that he has a sensitive stomach. The ingedient list is impressive, all natural stuff. Try dogfoodanalysis.com for breakdowns and opinion.

He eats like a horse, happy with dry or softened. People have commented on his glossy coat, his poos are firm and odour free.

It's an 'all life stages' food though rather than specifically for puppies but i did a bit of reading re puppy food and wasn't convinced it's entirely necessary in any event.

He was fine on Arden Grange, which the breeder used too.

That being said, all those things might have applied had he been on less expensive food too, I don't know! Now I wouldn't change!

I have finally managed to get my puppy switched successfully from Eukanuba. I seem to have been trying forever as he has a sensitive tummy and JWB and wainwrights upset him.

I have managed to switch to Arden Grange. Poos are now firm and less frequent at last. Seems to be down to a couple a day now. The horrific constant wind has gone too.

Oh he is a picky eater though. Vet nurse reassured me he is growing though and says I am probably expecting him to eat too much as says guidelines on pack are way too much for some dogs.

What do people think of Wainwrights? I've been feeding pup on that and she seems fine, though i think she must get bored of the same flavour all week...
