Hello, im new here but have been lurking for a while. Sorry if its been done before, I just wandered how many dogs you own and how they came to be with you?
I have 5girls :)
Lucy is 4, she's a German shepherd x rottie who we got at 8weeks, she's her dads girl, so gentle and kind.
Daisy is 5, she's a basset hound who came to us age 1 as a rehome. She broke her leg in previous home and was no longer fit for show, we have spent a fortune having her leg pinned, she is my soul mate.
Lana is 7 she's an ex racing greyhound, came to me 2 years ago via retired greyhound trust. She was very scared when got her but has now with alot of love and time turned a corner.
Rosie is 5 we've had her a year now, she's a failed ex racer who we took on through a local kennels. She's full of beans.
Lastly is Ellie she's now a 5month old Staffordshire bull terrier. We got her via a stupid women that got her at 4weeks old. We took her straight to vets, she was so ill but is now the biggest cuddle monster iv ever known.

I only have the one dog. Sadiepup is a 6 month old yellow lab. She is completely loopy and can be hard work at times but when she is sleeping with her little face all smooshed up she is adorable! Obedience training classes are now beginning to pay off!

Oh forgot to say - we got Sadiepup from a breeder. We wanted to get a rescue dog but the rescue centre is very far away and when we went the ones we had liked online were reserved.

Currently 2. BigDog is the good one, a 5 year old (we think) staffy. He was a rescue. Poor thing was horribly treated.
LittleDog is...well shall we say challenging? 7 month old staffy. He was a foster. He is now part of the family.

I have had 17 fosters over the years. This dog has made me tear out my hair. He got to 5 months, and decided to rebel.
His recall is...sketchy? Well what I mean is, I call him, he looks at me, looks around, chases a plastic bag, takes 2 steps towards me, chases a bird...then comes back.

Trying to get him to sit is sometimes like trying to nail jelly to the wall. It took 18 minutes, copious treats and clicking this morning.
After 5 minutes I forgot why I wanted him to sit, I just carried on because I refuse to be beaten.
He ignores stay or wait, or anything really.

Sit is about as good as it gets.
The puppy class trainer is very optimistic, well she was. 2 weeks ago she said, I know we were going to start training for his bronze, but let's leave it til after Xmas shall we?
He will get his bronze if it kills me. It probably will.
