What shall I get Ddog for her birthday?

Have posted a bit on here about her but Ddog has now been with us for amost 9mo now and according to the DT info which is complete guesswork she will be 2 on Thursday (they put the date they brought her in as her birthday and guessed she was about 1). I am celebrating this as her birthday because then I can also celebrate her "anniversary" of coming home in Feb Grin

So...what shall I get her? She destroys and eats toys pretty quickly so most toys are a no-no. We've never really given her treats other than biscuits and dentasticks so I was thinking maybe a pigs ear or rawhide bone?

Any other ideas?

Grin it's a section of Antler. Durable and yummy to chew and they last aaaaaaages and ages. Pets at home do them and you can get them on eBay too.

DP bought a stag bar (on my instructions) for the boy dog to chew, since he's made short work of Nylabones, etc. Dog's not entirely sure what to do with it, and carries it round so it looks like he's smoking some kind of leprechaun pipe begorrah begorrah

A Kong could be a gift that goes on giving, if she doesn't already have one?

If you're getting pigs ears get the double ones ( I think my sister gets them in wilkinsons) ,as they last a lot longer .

She does already have a Kong wild and hasn't destroyed it thus far.

Have googled a Stagbar & think we might try one, hopefully she will know what to do with it. We seem touches wood to have struck lucky in that she only tends to chew things we give her plus two plastic door stops at my mum's although she does eat them too so has to be supervised.

My pup did the reverential carrying for a bit too, in between ignoring it. Then clicked.

Now it's her favourite bedtime toy. Early in the morning joy sometimes here a quiet bark and whimper to establish is anyones up, if no response is given you immediately hear

Stupid question - they are ok to eat aren't they? (by the dog!) Ours eats anything while chewing so wouldn't want to get her something that wasn't safe to eat.

Yes. They are considered better than nylabones actually as they are ground into small pieces and entirely natural.
