Please be kind :)

It's a bit of a stupid question tbh.

I walk my (young, bouncy and enthusiastic) Jack Russell at about 7pm after I get the DDs in bed, through the fields near my house.

But what do I do when it's dark? How do others manage? I think I'd just lose him. Any suggestions?

We use flashing and reflective dog collars, You can get ones that just go over their normal collar when you take them out, and 'proper' collars that replace their normal one. Both work well in my experience and are bright enough to be seen from a long way away.

Same here. Clip on light and glow in dark ball. It's like something from Close Encounters of the Third Kind when She has her disco lights on and what appears to be a floating green orb moves through the air.

Flashing LED collars. A different colour for each dog. The sand dunes are lit up like a doggy disco Grin

Flashing collars are great. My two have red and green ones and the neighbours say it's like watching a walking christmas tree!

I also take a big LED torch with me, but that's more to do with all the knobbly tree roots about so I don't fall over. Sometimes helps with locating the mutts too!

O.M.G. I did not know about flashing collars and glowing balls
