Firstly, id get her checked over to make sure there aren't any physical reasons for her change in toilet habits. Never chastise her if you see her going as she will just assocaite having a wee in front of you as a bad thing, which is not what you want because you want her to go when you're out on a walk. Otherwise she will just wait until your back is turned at home and go. When you clean the carpets make sure you are using something with no ammonia based solvents because this will just make her go there again. Try just using BIOLOGICAL washing powder, then when its dry dabbing with methylated spirits as this will remove all the wee smell, remember dogs smell is very acute. If she pees on something like a cushion, could you put that in the garden? so that she smells it and then goes outside to wee again? Also, ask your vet about DAP diffuser, this is a doggie pheremone plug in (like an air freshener) that may help if she is wetting because she is anxious. Please don't give up on her just for a wee problem though - id rather have a stinky house than not have my dogs.

If this is a very recent thing, you should take her back to the vets - she could have an infection in her urinary tract which could be easily cleared with some antibiotics. Even if it's not that, there are several medical reasons for incontinence, many of which can be treated and medicated.

Once you've made sure there's no medical reason, go right back to basics with your toilet training. Is she getting plenty of walks and does she wee on her walks? At home, make sure you take her outside first thing, after every meal and at least every hour, go out with her, and when she wees, praise her like mad and give her a treat. She will very quickly learn that going outside gets praise.

Lucyellensmum has given excellent advice on cleaning - some cleaning products will actually encourage the dog to go again in the same place. You can also get specialist cleaners/smell removers in places like Pets At Home.

Please don't give up on her - this is usually a very solveable problem. Smile
