Lots of people sit at the tables outside Scotts with their dogs. Even gasp non-celebs. Wink

Well, I've never tried to take my dog to a restaurant at night, but who cares anyway, it's great that they seem to take the dog everywhere with them.

I am absolutely Shock at some of the comments though, especially
this one:

"Just a thought maybe she should be caring a baby instead of a dog by now?! That's why the dog is always with them even at the fancy restaurants?!"

Shock yes, because once women get married all they should do is have a baby right away, forget the fact that she has a good career that would have to be put on hold during a pregnancy. And god forbid they take their dog everywhere with them because they take dog onwership and it's responsibilities seriously. Angry

As for the dog being carried, I don't agree with it either, but it's a small, young dog and maybe they were worried it would get trodden on by the Paps or scared by the flashes?

Mine would be totally sprawled out snoring - except when the waiter comes past with steak ! Evening is very much her relaxing time.

Must get a new posh bag to carry all my dog stuff with me instead of a crappy rucksack.

There's no rule against eating outside at a restaurant with a dog. They aren't allowed inside, it's against hygiene rules. We had a lovely garden where I used to work, which was frequented by many locals and their dogs.
She really needs to put the thing down though, it's not even a toy dog. It's a bloody border terrier! horrible smelly things!

Dogs can go into restaurants - just not into areas where food prep is taking place - it is obviously at restaurant owners discretion whether they are allowed in . Have been to a few cafes and pubs where food is served and they have allowed my dog in.

They must by law I gather allow assistance dogs in restaurants etc at all times.
