How to stop this dog from pulling on walks?

I have two older dogs and recently acquired a foster pup (likely to become our pup :)). One of our older dogs (bouvier x) has always pulled on walks, ever since she was small. She is about 80 lbs now, and pretty strong. As a younger dog it was recommended that we use a prong collar on her, and we did, but we haven't been consistent with it. She is 9 now and still pulls just as much. Our own fault for lack of consistency, I realize that.

The puppy is a newf x. She is only about 5 months old now, about lab-sized at the moment, and she is also a puller. She is half-choking herself on a walk because she is pulling so hard. Between the two of them my feet are barely touching the ground on a walk!

I want to at least stop the puppy from pulling, both of them if possible. What is the best way to do this?

Google 300 peck method, silky leash method, or similar, pick one, stick with it. Take puppy out separately, don't attempt to train both dogs at the same time. Take a look at the Kikopup videos about building focus and concentration, work on fostering interest in a food or toy reward, use it to your advantage.

Use a plain collar and lead for preference, I'm not a fan of headcollars (they can be as aversive as a choke collar for some dogs) but they can work in some situations. Unlike most doghouse members I have no technical objection to chokes or prongs but they shouldn't be necessary, work hard on making yourself a really fun and exciting person to work with and stay close to instead.
