Bed recommendations?

Jasper is on his second fabric, fur lined bed. He doesn't deliberately tear them, but they do seem to tear easily and then he takes great delight in removing all the stuffing. Now, I want to buy something a bit more robust, but comfy for him and also good value for money. Any pointers?

Erm, I recommend these

Far too much on here. I honestly dont work for them! They are pricey- (jasper is a springer size isn't he??) a medium would suit. We've had ours a while now, they don't smell, hairs wipe off and I was sick of spending money on fur ones that had to be washed and eventually binned for being grotty!

He's more cocker sized tbh, but at 8 months old I'm not entirely sure he's finished growing . Hmm, I was looking at the tuffies, but not sure I can justify the expense at the moment. Bloody house move.

Good old fashioned plastic bed full of vet bed.
Easy to clean - doesn't smelly doggy and cheap.

I have found that the Tuffies beds don't go flat but they do whiff as it is impossible to clean all the lining properly especially the waterproof ones.

Love tuffies, saved a fortune over time. Mop in garden with bio washing stuff....they smell great. Or maybe they whiff and the poster above has a keener nose!

I have two lots beds in our house. One I bought at Crufts last year and is amazing, quite pricey, (well I need the XXXXXXXL) but lasts forever... Its a Bronte Glen, waterproof and unzips to wash outer bit. I have only needed to wash it a couple of times, I hoover it every day, just run the upright over it and its clean.

The other bed I have is a 3 peaks from pets at home. Cost £50 and is rubbish, its a decent enough bed, but is so hard to clean. The dog hair gathers in all the little nooks and crannies and takes ages to clean, and it is smelly.

Will add links to both - oh and I have lots of vet bed so we can have 'temporary' beds where needed, good for holidays etc.

I made a big cushion stuffed with old sofa cushion stuffing. It's still going well after 2.5 years. Another bed is a very old feather duvet with a cover that can be washed. The dogs also have my old duffel coat and some old rugs. There is also a crap supermarket duvet which is snuggly enough. Of course the sofa, our bed, the spare bed and anything else soft.... A plastic bed is good to contain all these things, or a crate!
