Bit of a different thread...

Me and little scruff (lab x, possible doodle) are having a training break for a couple of days, after he looked so bored and unmotivated at last weeks training class. So I'm concentrating on just playing and games for a bit, just so he doesn't forget what a miserable cow I really am how fun I am!

Basically, is this a rubbish idea?! I dont want him to forget what he knows so to speak, just thought we were both fed up as the weeks class 'homework' wasn't going great and fancied a break.

And also, any mind games I can do with him, keep the little brain going?

We've just started 'go find' which is basically me playing tuggy with a toy, asking him to down and wait, me hiding the toy then pup sniffing it out. It's laugh, if you're a 6 month old puppy or a 3year old DD!

This sounds really sad but....

Before we get ready to go upstairs to bed at night me and my husband go around the living room saying put the toys away every time we put one in the toy box, to start with our pup just got really excitable but now he helps out, has recognised it's bedtime and then goes to his crate! After a couple of weeks we noticed he doesn't leave half as many toys and chews out as he used to as he now tends to swap them at the toy box. That started off as a bit of fun but has become quite helpful Smile
