My golden retriever is very partial to spag bol, loves pancakes but her all-time favourite is cheese Grin

Chicken. I tend to cook a whole one and cut it up to make different meals and they sit at my feet in the kitchen (not normally allowed in kitchen) and wait patiently on the off cuts and skin. They LOVE it. Its so cute they seem to know when it is finished cooking.

emptyshell · 19/07/2011 16:59

Rabbit poo or anything decomposing in the kitchen bin.

Funnily he has SOME standards... he refused to eat a box of Special K he counter-surfed.

skintoff · 19/07/2011 17:08

I have a labrador, he has only ever refused lettuce and cucumber. :)

RidcullySentTheBursarMad · 19/07/2011 23:35

Doggy gets his monthly cheese treat when he has his monthly dose of Programme (he's not the smartest, so doesn't see/smell the tablet inside), but loves a really stinky camembert. Otherwise, he isn't allowed human food (aside from practising training the other day, ran out of treats, gave corned beef - he was perfect in training lessons the next day Grin).

Scuttlebutter · 20/07/2011 08:21

Ours will eat most things - another one here who now has very tidy kitchen surfaces after learning just how far greys can reach.

But all time favourite has to be CHEESE - they love it, go mad for it. Liver (boak - tis the offal of Satan). Oh, and butter. Pauses to remember special butter dish that I'd had since a wee girly of 19 that particularly greedy grey demolished and ate the contents of one night while I was seeing Hayseed Dixie. And to make things worse it was best organic butter - none of your cheap stuff for our pigs/vultures/jackals, oh no. Not that I'm bitter or anything... mumble, mumble, rant.

Think that even a squirrel could be resisted if I was waving a particularly smelly piece of cheese at them.

And one of them likes curry.

Cheese - he can hear the fridge open from a mile away and is there waiting for his sliver. Pasta (preferably with cheese), Most veg, but not potato.

musicposy · 20/07/2011 09:18

Budgen (sheltie) likes anything unsuitable and rotting from the kitchen bin. It's a miracle he's made it to 9....

Poppy (JRTx, year old) likes pizza crust, chips and McDonald's burgers Blush. She's a real junk food addict! We do make sure she exercises it off Grin

Kladdkaka · 20/07/2011 09:31

Dairylea cheese slices (he's fussy and won't have any other varieties) and dairy fudge from the pick'n'mix bag.

CoffeeIsMyFriend · 20/07/2011 09:45

my boy will do anything for banana, as soon as he hears the skin being peeled he will come from wherever he is and sits waiting for his piece!

puppy has scoffed all my homegrown strawberries and a lot of raspberries - I think I have fruitarian dogs. Grin

they also like raw carrots, peas and apple. Dont like lettuce, brocolli or sprouts.

ooh and garlic bread. The end bit is always given to loofa.

MrsJohnDeere · 20/07/2011 09:50

Springer so very little he won't eat. Only things he spits out are blueberries and oranges (but tries them every once in a who's just to check).

Things he goes nuts for are hot cross buns, cheese, chicken

Tchootnika · 20/07/2011 13:47

Ours has a sweet tooth, but is also seemingly quite health conscious... (maybe that's because we don't let her anywhere near cheese, etc. - which I know she's love...)

Raw salad veg she absolutely loves, and broccoli, lettuce and cauliflower stalks are great favourites.

Also, a seasonal treat, she loves watermelon peel.
(She's also big on snakeweed at the moment, and grazes quite a lot on walks.)

shivster1980 · 20/07/2011 13:56

Chicken wings. Monty can count - whenever we have a whole chicken he gets the wings, he knows they come in twos and will drop the first one on the floor and wait for the 2nd before munching them. Grin

DaisyGoneCrazy · 20/07/2011 15:18

My Baby Daisy LOVES crisps (salt and vinegar) and has an in built radar where chocolate is concerned. We found out She hates mash and pea's Grin

disclaimer she only gets dog chocolate

Saltire · 20/07/2011 15:24

He also likes veg and occasionally gets it in his dinner bowl

MotherJack · 20/07/2011 18:31

misdee · 20/07/2011 18:50

minkymeerkat · 20/07/2011 19:17

oxocube · 20/07/2011 19:32

OP posts:
bizzieb33 · 21/07/2011 21:28

They have stolen & eaten chilli's but will never eat onionsConfused

Spaniels = walking dustbins Grin

LimburgseVlaai · 22/07/2011 11:05

Cat food is sooo much more delicious than dog food.

But the most tasty treat of all is horse poo. Give him horse poo any time.

Shoes. Magazines. Small girls' dresses - although he is growing out of those now Smile.

The other day he rolled around in fox poo, really frottered his head in it. Yeugh!

NunTheWiser · 22/07/2011 12:30

Cheese, BBQ chicken, bacon and a milky brew. Never put a cup of tea down anywhere near UnWiseDog... Grin

rogersmellyonthetelly · 22/07/2011 21:09

She eats anything that she can filch off the kids, but her fave is Prawn crackers and crisps, possibly because she can "kill" them by pouncing on them and smashing them into bits.
