Elibean - If you are looking in the Oxfordish area I went to the Blue Cross at Lewknor today (literally about 2 minutes off of the M40 J6) they are lovely there!

i keep seeing beautiful little Yorkishire Terriers. Literally everywhere I go I see one. Anyone got any real life advicea about this breed? I have peeped on ~Small Breed rescue sites so kind of getting an idea

No im not applying for this one - I thought she had gone, she's available again I think as the HOLD notice has been taken off. She went on Friday evening a couple of weeks ago and was reserved really quickly - I was gutted as I fell for her but I dont think DH would go for a smaller dog.

LOL at being "not worthy" i'm sure they are just being cautious - I think this has gone through really quickly because we have a history of having border collies and, being bright dogs, they dont cope well with being in kennels.

I might apply then! Didn't want to be in competition with anyone on here

Please do, shes beautiful and needs a proper home my brother's dog came from there and he recommends them highly.

I might have to chick . She is a beaut. I have also registred my interest in a 2 year old Yorkie boy. Absolutely gorgeous too. So many dogs, so little room!!!

spider - Lila is gorgeous - I feel so so sorry for the ones who get overlooked. She sounds perfect, really well adjusted. I wonder whta size she is

oh dear, I spoke to the lady at Yorkshire Terrier and toy breed rescue today and we went through a kind of telephone interview (had already registered on their webpage and submitted a pre-adoption form) and she seems to think my family would be quite well suited to a younger dog. They are expecting two 9 - 10 week old Yorkie pups coming in a week or so................... She did say there is a waiting list for puppies but anyway . I will see what happens - I'm sure whichever way it goes it will be right for me
