This rather gross, so don't read if you're eating

Gave 3 year old dog his worm tablet from vet on Saturday. Yesterdaya dn today he's had the most vile poos. Very runny,a nd 1 of them was "slimy" in bits.
DH thinks it's possibly a reaction to the meds?, and he also said dog was sick the other day and he noticed a couple of worms in the sick! He never told me this until after I'd got worm tablet otherwise I'd have mentioned it to the vet

I've never noticed this in my dogs. Ring your vets and ask one of the nurses maybe?

I've been reaidng about it on internet and it seems as though it has happened to a few poeple, and a second dose of worming tablets seems to clear it up, but most of the cases on internet have been puppies.

The dog is fine otherwise, no lethragy or signs of illness, is eating normally, drinking well etc

My dog reacts badly like this to drontal tablets in particular. Never noticed any worms though so it's not that. I switched to the chewable ones- milbemax or plerion, and they seem to be fine...
